Why you got started in fitness?
I got into fitness because I was tired of being overweight, always feeling like a failure, wanted to be able to go up the stairs without getting winded, and to be able to take my shirt off at the pool without being self conscious. 

Why you continue with fitness?
I keep going because I love sharing the gift of fitness with all of those around me.  I truly believe that exercise is medicine and that it has saved my life more than once. 

Favorite book?
I love the Harry Potter series for leisure reading and Creativity Inc. for professional development reading.

Favorite movie?
Speed Racer (it’s a pretty bad movie but I absolutely love it for some reason)

Do you have a theme song?
My go to song is Paper Wings by Rise Against.

Favorite food?
My favorite food is Honey Buttermilk Kodiak Pancakes with blueberries, bananas, and chocolate chunks mixed in with melted peanut butter on top.

I've had the opportunity to be coached in weight lifting, functional fitness, and nutrition. What I admire most about Kenney is his deep knowledge of his craft. Kenney has such a great grasp of the human body, movement patterns, etc. I love being able to pick his brain and learn the components of what we are accomplishing.
