Why you got started in fitness?

I grew up playing sports (softball, basketball, volleyball, & track) and was always very active and competitive. My brothers always pushed me to be the best I could be. I never wanted to get “old” and not be able to do daily life activities. My oldest brother is also a personal trainer and owns a gym in Michigan. I have always looked up to him, so he initially sparked my interest in making fitness my career.

Why you continue with fitness?

It is such a rewarding job, helping others is why God put me on this earth. I enjoy making people’s lives much more enjoyable when they can think, move, and feel better. Fitness is definitely a passion of mine, but nutrition is my number one passion.

Favorite Book?

Recreational, “The Bible”

Fitness related, “How to Eat, Move, and be Healthy” by Paul Chek

Favorite Movie?

I would never not watch “Dumb & Dumber”; a good laugh is always great for the soul.

Do you have a theme song?

I have many theme songs, it depends on the day!

Favorite food?

Chips and salsa/guacamole.
